Description
Cognac Grande Champagne 2006 – Single Cask Jean-Luc Pasquet - 50,1% vol. - 0,7 liter
Winegrowing families have a close relationship with their vineyards. Each product from this symbiosis for life bears a personal signature and is full of passion. No wonder that cognac was named Spirit of the Year. However, there are bottlings that stand out even from this circle of exquisite and emotional craft products. Jean-Luc Pasquet's 2006 Cognac Grande Champagne is one of them.
The 2006 vintage is one of the matured qualities from France's leading organic producers - distilled on site from hand-picked Ugni Blanc grapes from the company's own vineyard in Grande Champagne. For the heads of the quality brand, Jean Pasquet and his wife Amy, the golden drop has a special meaning: The organic cognac comes from the year of their wedding. After almost 16 years in Limousin oak, there were only three barrels left. We were able to secure the best of them - with an outstanding potpourri of fully ripe peach, fresh pineapple, honey and caramel - for Kirsch Import's customers.
